The upcoming AirPods Pro will be in the color that matches the iPhone 11 Pro
The next generation of Apple AirPods, known by many as "AirPods Pro", can come in up to 8 new colors, including white, black and dark blue. These colors will match iPhone 11 Pro models, according to a report from Economic Daily News.
While the 8-color number sounds like a lot, it's not surprising to look at the various color options that Beats headphones offer.
The report also claims that the ability to eliminate active noise and water resistance will also appear in AirPods Pro. This will also match an icon in the iOS 13.2 beta, which describes AirPods in-ear (in-ear) with rubber eartips.
Economic Daily News claims that these AirPods Pro can be officially launched early next week.
Because these AirPods Pro will probably be equipped with active noise cancellation and better sound quality, the price is likely to be higher, expected to start at around $ 259 (more than 6,000,000 VND). ). This is $ 100 more than the current generation AirPods with a wired charging case. But this price is only an estimate given from supply chain reports and is not certain.
Economic Daily News has previously reported that Apple is planning to release AirPods in black, but Generation 2 AirPods are still only white. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said that Apple would plan to release the 2nd generation AirPods in 2018, but this was eventually delayed. With these in mind, maybe black and other colors are unlikely to appear with the 3rd generation AirPods Pro, which comes with noise reduction and water resistance.
October is only a few days away, so a new event is unlikely to occur at this time. With this new report, AirPods Pro may just be a press release. Apple may host an unprecedented event in November, or these will be announced at the annual event in March 2020.
