1. The starting area in the game

Griffin can be found guarding a chest just south of the starting island, south of the observatory. It is located on the last island, where the border between water and land is contiguous.

2. The Goddess of Wisdom

The second location is west of the Statue of Wisdom statue. This Griffin is guarding a vault. If the player has trouble finding it, wait until night falls and follow the dazzling west light of the statue. Sightseeing places always glow at night and that is one of the little secrets hidden in Fenyx Rising that few people notice.

Another Griffin monster also appears near the Statue of Wisdom, but on its northeast side. There is a chest located in the northeastern part of the Grove of Kleos, on a small plateau. Griffin is guarding that chest.

3. Forge Lands

Next, don't miss the north pole of the Forge Lands. Griffin appears near the coastline bordered by King's Peak and another spawn on the western side of the Forge Lands, under a giant cliff. While the player needs to upgrade Heavy Lifting to Herakles's Strength to get the Epic Chest there, they do not need it to kill Griffin who is guarding this chest.

And yet, the third Griffin in the Forge Lands is guarding the Shrine of Aither, just east of the second one present in the land. If a player is looking to seriously farm Griffin, then the best place to do so in the entire world of Fenyx is the Forge Lands. You can find at least 3 lion-headed monsters here and they also often revive.
