The Peruvian government buys 40,000 laptops for elementary students

It is expected that early next year, more than 40,000 laptops (XO) in the "One Laptop per Child" project - OLPC will be granted to Peruvian primary students.

According to the OLPC project, the Peruvian government is now planning to place another 210,000 XO laptops after successful tests conducted last May in the town of Arahuay, Peru.

There were 60 XO laptops used in the test, and the results were very positive in the first week.

With 210,000 XO laptops expected to be added in the next batch, the Peruvian government hopes to improve the quality of learning for children in the country.
