The lion is known as the king of the grasslands, with the ability to hunt on land. Lions live and hunt in packs led mainly by female lions.

The characteristic of lions is ambush hunting, they often stealthily follow their prey and attack at close range. They will attack the respiratory system of their prey, biting or tearing the throat to bring them down quickly.

However, the lion's hunting is not always smooth, sometimes they also have unexpected 'accidents' like the video above.

In the hot season, the lake is a favorite place for all animals to come to drink water and avoid the sun. Therefore, this is also an ideal hunting ground for predators. In the video, a herd of antelope is wandering here without knowing that danger is near, lions are hiding in the hole watching them. But it seems that because the lion is so focused on tracking his prey that he forgets to observe the surrounding terrain. So when deciding to attack the prey, the lion accidentally jumped into the nearby water hole.
