The HTC One M8 adds a music version
In addition to having a new color case with a black back and yellow front, HTC's high-end smartphone also incorporates a 24bit / 192kHz DAC with an In-ear headset from Harman Kardon.
However, this special One M8 version was originally released only through Sprint network (USA). Compared to the original, HTC uses a black aluminum case with striped stripes that feels darker than the international Gun Metal color, besides, the stripes on the back are brighter instead of black. The two strips on the front BoomSound speaker are no longer the same color as the back cover but are yellow. In addition, the Harman Kardon sound logo also appears near the tail.
Meanwhile, in terms of configuration, the HTC One M8 Harman Kardon does not change when still using Snapdragon 801 4-core chip at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM along with 5-inch Full HD screen and dual UltraPixel camera.
But this model incorporates a 24-bit / 192kHz quality music processor chip with Harman Kardon's Clari-Fi technology, optimized and enhanced sound for higher quality, increased detail. The One M8 can handle lossless FLAC music with 6 times higher quality than regular CDs or 60 times the normal MP3 format.
One M8 Harman Kardon is sold in the US for about $ 680, with a Harman Kardon AE-S headset. Customers who bought the product also got a discount on Harman Kardon's Onyx Studio set from $ 400 to $ 100.
