Google Maps update expands integrated music player
Google Maps has updated a new version to expand its YouTube Music music service.
Before the latest update, Google Maps supported the integration of streaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify and Google Play Music. And now in the latest update, Google has integrated YouTube Music into its map lookup application.
Users can access the menu Settings> Navigation and select the Default media app to select the default music player for Google Maps. After selecting their favorite music streaming service, users will have to connect the actual application to Google Maps when signing in. And the device also needs to update to the latest version of YouTube Music to be able to add it as the default music player for Google Maps. Also YouTube Music is not yet available on Google Maps for iOS.
Note, you will not be able to find the YouTube Music music player without updating to Google Maps version 10.43.2, so please check the version of the application before using.
