The Google keyboard adds text typing with Morse code on both Android and iOS
Google recently announced that the Morse code keyboard has been integrated into its Google G Board keyboard set, both on Android and iOS versions.
When the typing function with Morse code is activated, the Google keyboard will turn into 2 large buttons that display dots (.) And dashes (-). There will be suggestions to help users type easily. In addition, to help users speed up the use of Morse code and reach the same speed as the regular QWERTY keyboard, Google also launched a software to "train" users using Morse code.
Google launched this feature to make it easier for visually impaired people to input. With only 2 extra buttons, people with visual impairments will be much more likely to hit than the QWERTY keyboard. Also, when you get used to Morse code, users can text without looking at the screen.
