The first ultrabook duo to run Windows 8 from Samsung

Not only upgrading the configuration with the latest Ivy Bridge chips, the new Series 5 and Premium Series 9 from Samsung also preinstalled Microsoft's latest operating system.

Samsung ultrabook Series 5 and Premium Series 9 are two of the first laptop models in Vietnam to be preinstalled with Windows 8. The duo is expected to " hit" in the domestic market on October 26, coinciding with Microsoft officially introduced the new operating system.

Both have 4GB of RAM, 14-inch 300-nit screen and HD standard resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels.

The selling prices of two models of Series 5 are VND 18 and VND 22 million respectively.

Windows 8 will be an important addition to a high-end model like the Series 9.

Meanwhile, in the higher-end segment, Premium Series 9 continues to show the class for business users with powerful Intel Core i7-3517U processor, 4 GB of RAM memory, graphics chip. Intel HD Graphics 4000, SSD solid-state hard drive with 256 GB capacity. In addition, a big difference from Premium Series 9 is a 13.3-inch screen, but the resolution is up to 1,600 x 900 pixels and anti-glare technology makes good outdoor use with brightness up to 400 nit.
