Intel will launch a $ 599 Ultrabook later this year
Ultrabook has started to become a popular alternative to conventional laptops. Therefore, many manufacturers are actively investing in this product. Intel is no exception.
The first advantage of Ultrabook is the form. These products are designed to be thin and light so it is very convenient for users. In addition, most Ultrabooks often come with high-speed SSDs compared to the normal hard drive of a normal laptop.
However, compared to laptops, Ultrabook tends to be higher in the market. But recently, at the Intel Solutions Summit, Kirk Skaugen, vice president and general manager of Intel's PC Client Group, revealed that it will ship an Ultrabook product for just 599. USD (equivalent to VND 12.6 million) at the end of this year.
According to Ubergizmo technology site, these $ 599 Ultrabooks will be equipped with Intel Haswell chipsets. This is one factor that makes this product affordable. But it is not so much less "current " than current Ultrabook products, even more rich in features.
Intel promises to bring a high-resolution touchscreen product and faster SSD. In addition, this Ultrabook model also features voice recognition and face recognition. More specifically, the battery of the product introduced is able to run "all day" . However, this seems unbelievable and needs to be verified.
At $ 599, Intel's product may not be designed with high-end plastic materials but replaced with cheaper, other materials such as the Samsung Series 9 aluminum frame.
