Series 9 with Full HD screen.
Samsung today announced a new version of Series 9 with the most significant upgrade being the screen. Still with the size of 13.3 inches but the resolution reached Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixels instead of 1,600 x 900 pixels just like last year. Samsung SuperBright technology also raises the screen brightness to 300 nits on this product line.
The configuration of the Series 9 is very strong with the 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processor, Ivy Bridge platform, 128 GB optional SSD. Fast Solutions technology allows the machine to quickly restart from sleep mode, only takes about 2 to 3 seconds and the boot time always stays below 10 seconds.
In addition, the new 9-Series still retains the same ultra-slim and light design as the previous one with a "measurement" of 1.16 kg and a thinness of 12.7 mm. The shell material is still the same alloy as used in fighters to increase product durability. The surface is also coated with fingerprints as well as limiting fouling.
Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook began to order in the US market this week. The starting reference price is from 1,399 USD.
