Telegram messaging app has an iOS version with companion Telegram X. But unexpectedly, both were deleted from the App Store for unknown reasons.

'We have been informed by Apple that there are inappropriate content and both applications have been removed from the App Store,' said Pavel Durov, founder and CEO of Telegram on Twitter.

According to TechCrunch , Apple's guidelines say certain content must be filtered out, a mechanism to report back and block users. Maybe some of this content of Telegram has been ignored.

Later, Durov also posted on Twitter saying that the app has returned to the App Store.

Telegram X is a faster version of Telegram and also saves battery life.
