Samsung Phones Suffer Serious Problems After Software Update
Specifically, according to users' feedback, their phones are stuck in a bootloop, unable to access data. To be able to use them again, users are forced to perform a factory reset, resulting in all data including files, photos, videos, applications and social network accounts being deleted.
During the factory reset process, the user must log in to the previously used Google account to unlock the FRP (Factory Reset Protection). If the user no longer has access to this account, it will be difficult to restore the device.
According to reports, the cause of Galaxy devices "turning into bricks" could be due to the latest SmartThings Framework update.
However, this issue only affects certain Galaxy S10, Note 10, and M51 models. If affected, users should contact the nearest Samsung service center to find out possible solutions before deciding to perform a factory reset.
Samsung has yet to comment on this issue.
The above issue also shows that users should backup important data before installing any update.
