Samsung Galaxy S21 (Galaxy S30) may be equipped with a camera hidden below the screen
This is likely to be Samsung's biggest breakthrough next year.
After the launch of the Galaxy S20, opening a new era after making a name change from the Galaxy S10, it's unclear whether the next flagship smartphone will be launched Galaxy S21 or Galaxy S30?
However, according to Ice Universe's latest revelation, that may be Galaxy S21. And more specifically, Samsung will use the camera technology completely hidden below the screen. This will be a further breakthrough, after Samsung created the perforated screen design.
The camera hidden below the screen will not have any holes, but the sensor placed below will receive light through the touch screen. Previously, Oppo also introduced a smartphone prototype with a camera hidden below the screen. However, no commercial smartphone has actually used this technology.
Basically, this technology is still limited, especially image quality. Because light will have to pass through a glass and touch screen before reaching the camera sensor, the image quality is greatly reduced.
We cannot verify that the source of Ice Universe is true. But it is also interesting and hopeful information for Samsung to do something new next year.
