The Department of Telecommunications - Ministry of Information and Communications has recently issued an official letter on the process of converting from 11 numbers to 10 numbers (the time and new subscriber numbers for each operator) will officially begin. from September 19, 2018 here.

According to Official Letter No. 3068 / CVT-TNTK dated September 7, 2018, starting from 00:00 on September 15, 2018, 11-digit subscribers of all operators in Vietnam will proceed to change to 10 numbers each stage. Details of the serial numbers after conversion as well as the number-per-digit conversion schedule can be found in the table below.

In the official dispatch, the Telecommunications Department - Ministry of Information and Communications also requires operators to ensure that they do not affect customers' communications during the transition.

Currently, operators are ready for the number conversion. To make automatic number changes for 11-digit phonebooks stored, users of each network can use network apps like My Mobifone, My Viettel, My VNPT, etc. In particular, Vinaphone also allows customers to of other operators can use My VNPT application to transfer numbers without logging in.
