In addition to automatically updating phone numbers for users, Zalo also provides a free tool set to automatically save phone numbers from 11 numbers to 10 numbers in the directory to help users access and not be lost contact with people. This helps users avoid troubles if they forget to update their phone numbers using Zalo.

Thus, the conversion of the number will not affect the user's entire Zalo account. And after 15.9.2018, Zalo users can use old or new phone numbers to log in.

Viber also supports all users to convert old phone numbers to new ones using any version. However, for the conversion to take place smoothly, Viber also encourages users to update to the latest version. The user will receive a confirmation message after the conversion is complete.

But Viber will not support automatic update of contacts and users' personal contact numbers.
