Using similar names, Yahoo wants to use Blog 360's "brand" which is familiar to Vietnamese bloggers to market for 360 Plus. However, this has caused "side effects" when many people are worried that they will be separated from the 360-world blogging community when being "bundled" into a separate service. That is why many bloggers are hesitant to decide to "move" to 360 Plus after 1 month of launch.

Talking to VietNamNet reporter, Yahoo representative confirmed that Yahoo! 360 is a global service and will work independently until the transition to Yahoo! Global profile takes place at the end of this year. Yahoo! decided to move all 360, Mash and Profile accounts (so far only saved Yahoo user information) to a new Yahoo! Global profile to meet all of its social and community products. All blog content, friends list (friend list), avatar (photo profile) and nickname (nick name) from 360 will be transferred to this new service.

The connection between 360 Plus and Yahoo 360 (later Yahoo! Profile) will not work because it is located in 2 different systems. 360 Plus users cannot "invite" friends from 360 or Profile to play and comment on their site. As such, 360 Plus users also cannot communicate with friends in other countries using the Global Profile service.

The content on 360 is still preserved after conversion, users can continue to log in, blog 360 and switch to the Yahoo Profile later.

Conversely, the transition from 360 to Yahoo Profile will be carried out thoroughly, proceeding to stop testing services, similar to moving photos from Yahoo Photos to Flickr before. If Vietnamese users want to connect with global friends, they must maintain both blogs on both services.
