Microsoft test video proves that Edge browser is superior to Firefox and Chrome

Google's Chrome browser currently accounts for 60% of the world's Internet browser market share, while less than one in 20 computer users is surfing the web with Microsoft's Edge browser. But the software giant still decided to "fight" with his heavy competitors.

One of Edge's advantages over Chrome or Firefox has always been promoted by Microsoft as the ability to save battery when surfing the web on mobile devices like laptops or tablets.

In the situation where Chrome and Firefox continually have improvements to fix the battery drain problem through recent updates, Microsoft has released a new test video showing the new Fall Creators Update update of Windows 10. Edge browsing has significantly improved the ability to manage and save power.

Microsoft claims that Edge's online video viewing time is 63% higher than Firefox and 19% compared to Chrome. This is really impressive for those who regularly watch movies online on a laptop or tablet.

Currently, most users choose web browser based on speed and stability criteria. Therefore, improving Edge's battery saving ability to convince users to give up Chrome or Firefox is not enough. Perhaps Microsoft still needs to do more.
