Microsoft Edge supports site preloading
Microsoft Edge now supports Preload, which preloads websites like Chrome, making browsing faster.
When you visit a website, the Google Chrome browser looks for all the links on that page and preloads the pages you are likely to visit next, which is called finding and loading DNS.
This feature, called Preload pages, makes accessing the website much faster. Now that Microsoft Edge Canary has been added and enabled, in the near future, it will officially apply to its browser to help users experience faster web surfing.
Currently the feature is turned off and you can turn it on in the following way.
• Launch the Edge browser.
• At the main interface, click the three dots icon located in the upper right corner, then select Settings.
• Select Privacy and services in the left menu bar, then navigate to Services in the settings interface and enable the Preload pages for faster browsing and searching option.
