Microsoft demonstrates the value of Windows 8 for businesses
Yesterday, at TechEd North America Technology Conference, Microsoft Corporation introduced in detail the value of Windows 8 for businesses through enhanced basic platforms, new features and adaptability. Powerful use.
Moreover, a number of updates for Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) solutions to help organizations manage, secure and enhance Windows experiences are also shared during the conference.
'Windows 8 is for businesses right from the design. Adding new mobile, productivity and safety features, Windows 8 not only pleases developers but also IT professionals and the employees they support, ' said Antoine Leblond, Deputy Microsoft president of Windows Web services shared.
Updates for several products under the MDOP package are now available, enabling organizations to virtualize, manage, store data, applications and user experiences on Windows such as:
• Beta versions of Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM) 2.0 make it easier for businesses to protect their data with BitLocker and BitLocker To Go using Windows 8 to simplify backup and management processes and enforce compliance requirements to increase security, while reducing coding environment management costs when integrating with existing management systems, including System Center Configuration Manager 2007 and 2012.
• The beta of Microsoft Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM) 4.0 Service Pack 1 and the RC candidate version of Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DaRT) 8 is also available to support Windows 8 Release Preview.
• The second beta version of the User Experience Virtualization tool (UE-V) will also be released later this month. UE-V is designed to give individuals the ability to change devices while retaining the same experience even if they do not reconfigure applications or install on Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating systems. New features in this version include: operating system setup roaming; support for additional operating system settings, such as Start menu, Taskbar and files; support Group Policy to ensure consistency for setting up guest agent configurations; roaming and synchronization between Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10.
