N455 is the successor of the N450 processor introduced for the first time late last year at a rate of 1.66 GHz. The N455 processor is superior to DDR3 RAM support, a significant upgrade over DDR2 RAM like most netbooks today.
The new HP Mini 210 will be priced at $ 464. It comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Start operating system with 1GB of RAM and 250 GB hard drive.
In addition, Intel's CEO, Paul Otellini, said there will be a new dual-core Intel Atom processor version available for the new netbook just in the second quarter of this year.
According to Fudzilla, the new dual-core Atom chip will be 1.5 GHz and using 45 nanometer technology, the power consumption is 8.5W. While the current two Atom processors, N450 and N470, consume 5.5 and 6.5 W. respectively.
