iPhone 2018 will have 62 times faster network speed
That time is probably enough to talk about the iPhone X, let's talk about next year's iPhones.
According to the latest research, KGI Securities Ming Chi-Kuo analyst said that the new iPhone (s) will support gigabit LTE to significantly increase the upload and download speeds when using the Internet.
Kuo believes that the next-generation iPhone will have a few upgrades on the antenna to achieve faster speeds, including a flexible 'liquid crystal polymer' circuit board to improve wireless network speed.
Maybe Apple will add 4 antennas (4x4 MIMO) to increase the amount of data transmitted and download speed. iPhone X and iPhone 8, 8 Plus currently only have 2 antennas (2x2 MIMO).

These changes, if any, will have a major impact on the speed and reliability of the network connection. According to T-Mobile, the gigabit LTE theoretically means that you can quickly download up to 1Gbps, ie a 2-hour film in just 15 seconds is finished downloading.
Of course, 1Gbps is only the optimal speed - compared to the current speed of T-Mobile in New York at 30-50Mbps. The normal usage speed will be slower.
Gigabit LTE has been included in Android, though not yet used
But whether 100Mbps or 900Mbps is still much faster than the current speed. A recent report said that T-Mobile and Verizon, the two fastest LTE networks in the US today, only have download speeds of 16.7Mbps and 16.9Mbps respectively. If compared to the optimal speed of gigabit LTE, the download speed is 62 times faster.
If Kuo's information is correct - his analysis is often very relevant - Apple eventually catches up to Android, which already supports gigabit LTE even if network providers have not yet implemented this speed, Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of them.
