Instructions for installing Windows 7 from DVD
To install Windows operating system on the computer, users can choose to install via HDD, install directly without the help of other devices. Or we can proceed to create boot Windows installation from USB device, or use DVD from publisher.

1. Minimum hardware requirements for installing Windows 7:
To be able to install Windows 7 operating system from a DVD, your computer needs to meet the following requirements:
- CPU 1GHz or higher with 32 bit or 64 bit.
- 1 GB Ram for 32 bit version or 2 GB Ram for 64 bit.
- 16 GB of free disk space for 32 bit or 20 GB for 64 bit.
- Graphics card that supports DirectX 9 with WDDM 1.0 or higher.
- DVD drive for installation.
2. Install Windows 7 with a DVD:
Step 1:
First, the user needs to set up the computer to boot from the CD or DVD in the BIOS. To access the BIOS interface, you need to press the appropriate key according to the model you are using. Refer to the article How to access the BIOS on different computers for instructions on how to access it.
Once you have entered the BIOS interface, click the Boot tab then select CD-ROM Drive to boot from the CD or DVD drive.

When setting up, press F10 to save and exit the BIOS interface.
Step 2:
Next we will insert the Windows 7 installation DVD into the DVD drive and restart the computer. The user waits for the interface to load the Windows 7 installation file as shown below.
Wait a few seconds to appear Starting Windows 7 screen.
Step 3:
At the Windows 7 installation screen on the computer, users will have 3 options to set up including:
- Language to Install: Language to install.
- Time and currency format: Date and currency format.
- Keyboard or input method: Keyboard type used.
We just need to click Next to continue.
Step 4:
Switch to the new interface and click Install now .
Step 5:
Wait a few seconds to appear the interface Select the operating system you want to install , select the Windows 7 operating system you want to install . Then click Next .
Step 6:
Go to the interface of the terms of use and installation of Microsoft, select I accept the license tems and then click Next .
Step 7:
In this interface, the system will ask us to choose which installation method, click on Custom.
Step 8:
On the next screen, users will need to select the drive partition to install Windows 7 , and then click Format below. You need to choose the correct Win drive on your computer.
Step 9:
The Windows 7 installation interface appears. You let these processes perform automatically on your computer.
Then the computer will automatically restart and the Windows 7 screen interface will appear.
Step 10:
Finally, the login information interface of the user, including username and password, if available.
If there is no key , you need to uncheck the Automatic . option and then click Next.
Continue to select Ask me later and then perform Windows 7 system setup tasks such as date and time, network connection. When the settings are complete, we will come to the complete interface on Windows 7.
