Instagram, Facebook and Messenger have problems that caused user activities to be interrupted
Starting at about 21:00 on November 20, 2019 (Vietnam time), Instagram, Facebook and Messenger simultaneously encountered a problem that made many people unable to post the above comment as well as share photos in chat groups, even Releases from the application. The problem makes it difficult for many people to use the services for more than 2 consecutive hours, both on the web platform as well as in the mobile apps.
The cause of this incident is still unclear, but according to DownDetector's analysis, the three major Facebook application platforms have simultaneously encountered problems in many areas around the globe, including the US East Coast, China. Europe, East Asia, Southeast Asia and India.
The incident hit the Instagram hardest, causing the platform to completely shut down and had to go through Twitter to notify users of the situation. While for Facebook and Messenger, users can not perform some features such as posting, commenting or sharing photos .
If you are experiencing one or more of the above problems, rest assured that the problem is not in your family network and Facebook is actively troubleshooting. Many areas now have a normal experience.
This is not the first time Facebook's service platforms have encountered similar problems. In March of this year, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger abruptly stopped working from dawn on November 13 (Hanoi time), leaving many people unable to log in to their personal Facebook accounts, while others restricted functions such as post status, photo sharing.
In a related news, both Spotify, Snapchat and Costco have also issued notices addressing server issues, which shows that the problem encountered could affect many other major platforms.
Update morning 11/29: Currently these platforms have been accessible and used normally.
