iCloud Data Under Threat? Turn On This Steel Shield On Your iPhone Now!
Recently, the UK issued an order requiring Apple to create a "backdoor" for iPhones and iPads, putting iCloud data of users around the world, including Vietnam, at risk of being compromised. Fortunately, Apple has equipped a "steel shield" to protect users.

ADP feature encrypts data on iCloud.
The order allows UK law enforcement agencies to access any data backed up on iCloud, regardless of whether it is end-to-end encrypted. More worryingly, Apple is barred from warning users about the risks.
Faced with this situation, iPhone and iPad users are encouraged to immediately enable Advanced Data Protection (ADP) - a powerful end-to-end encryption feature that protects users' sensitive data in the cloud, including:
- - Backup of device and messages
- - iCloud Drive, Notes, Photos
- - Safari reminders, bookmarks
- - Siri Shortcuts
- - Recording
- - Apple Wallet
When ADP is enabled, only your trusted devices can decrypt your data. Not even Apple can access your information.
To activate ADP, users need to ensure the following conditions:
- - Apple account with two-factor authentication (2FA)
- - Password on all devices
- - Contact a relative to use to recover the account or recovery code
- - Runs on iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2 or later
How to activate ADP
Go to the Settings app > click on your name at the top of the interface > select iCloud > scroll down and find "Advanced Data Protection". Then, click on "Turn on Advanced Data Protection" and follow the steps required by the device.
Protect your iCloud data now with ADP! Don't let potential risks affect your privacy and information security.
