How to Use ChatGPT Projects to Increase Productivity
After growing tired of the erratic look of ChatGPT's interface , many people started using Projects to keep things more organized. What started as a small experiment has become the way many people organize discussions in the app. In addition to organization, ChatGPT Projects are great for keeping context consistent across related conversations.
6. Learn a new language
It often takes people several years to learn a new language. To ensure you are as prepared as possible for your final assessment, use ChatGPT to discuss your strategic approach and develop a plan to push yourself to achieve your desired score.
Create multiple conversations to separate things. For example, create a specific conversation where you are asked similar questions to those that appeared on previous exams. Alternatively, use this Project area to discuss next steps after completing the exam and how to improve your learning in the real world.
5. Health and fitness
Over the years, people have spent a lot of time thinking about how to improve their health, both in and out of the gym. Areas people want to improve range from stress management to mobility to improved weightlifting form, and rather than keeping them as separate, standalone conversations in the sidebar, it makes more sense to put them all into one project.
Keeping each conversation in one place makes it easy to reference all of them when needed. Plus, you can decide what your main focus will be for the next few months, adding input as needed.
4. General chat
People have a lot of random thoughts throughout the day, and while keeping a paper diary is certainly helpful, sometimes you'll want to explore them more deeply. While you'd rather ask for other people's opinions, ChatGPT is often a good way to get real-time feedback.
When using ChatGPT without the Projects feature, your sidebar will quickly become cluttered. So for random discussions that don't exist in other areas, create a separate discussion in the General section .
3. Discuss creative projects
People have many creative projects, such as travel blogs and various photography endeavors. If you have multiple ideas for these, you'll want to keep them in a separate project area. You can create multiple conversations about different topics, such as blog strategy ideas and photography ideas.
2. Talk about work
In addition to being useful in creative projects, ChatGPT is a great personal assistant for work. Most of the discussions revolve around how to be more productive while sitting in front of a computer and organizing your workday in a more efficient way.
Whenever you want to change your goal or move to the next level, you can refer to one of your chats here. Keeping everything in one place means ChatGPT knows more about you, resulting in less back and forth when creating new schedules and the like.
1. Plan your goals
If goal-oriented is your number one priority, you should try every system imaginable to track your progress, like creating a Notion dashboard , adding sticky notes to your walls, buying a whiteboard to write down constant reminders, etc. While some of these will work, you need feedback — beyond your own awareness — to keep making progress.
In ChatGPT, create a Project where you'll track all of your goals – including any habits that help you achieve them. You can use this section to ask for advice on how to stay focused and help outline how you'll achieve your goals. For now, there's only one conversation here because I don't see the need for another – but perhaps I'll break it down further in the future.
