How to share YouTube videos to Instagram Story

So what if you want to share YouTube videos on Instagram Story? With YouTube videos there is no option to share videos to Story, but you can still post YouTube videos to Story in another way. The following article will guide you to share YouTube videos to Instagram Story.

Instructions for sharing YouTube videos to Instagram Story

Step 1:

You open the YouTube video you want to share to Instagram Story then click the share icon below and copy the YouTube video link.

Step 2:

Open the Instagram application, click the plus icon below the interface. Then click on the Story to proceed with posting the Story.

 

Step 3:

We will select the image or video we want to post to the Story. Then in the editing interface, click on the sticker icon to adjust. Now users will see there are many different stickers, click on the Link sticker .

Step 4:

Now display the interface to fill in the link you want to insert into the Instagram Story. Now you will paste the YouTube video URL you want to post to Story. Below, there is an option to Customize sticker text to add alternative words for the link. After filling in, click Done in the right corner to save.

 

Step 5:

You will now see the YouTube video link that has been inserted into the Story. Next we further adjust the Story as usual. Finally, you post the content to your Instagram Story as usual.

Step 6:

When viewing Story content, users will see a sticker with a YouTube video link. When you click on this sticker, you will have the option to access the YouTube video link. If you click on this option, it will immediately switch to a YouTube video.
