1. Backup and Restore

Restoring Windows 7 allows you to revert the system to a previously backed-up point. 3. Reinstall Windows 7

If you don't want to use the two methods above, you can reinstall Windows 7 from scratch. This is the best way to return the system to its original state. Microsoft also recommends that users reinstall Windows periodically for a better experience. If possible, install   Windows 7 using a USB drive  as this method is faster and more convenient.

The three methods above will help you reset Windows 7 to its factory settings. However, if you want a more modern operating system, consider upgrading to Windows 10.
