How to order the watch faces on the Apple Watch
There is absolutely no limit to the number of watch faces you can add to your Apple Watch. But once the initial excitement is gone, on your favorites list will be left with only a few watch faces that you may want to use regularly.
Usually, people have a habit of rotating clock faces in three main styles: complex form with complex information (Infograph), simple form (with typeface or large mechanical digits) and entertaining (Memoji, photos, funny themes in general).
Ideally, then, we could group the lake faces of the three types above into a 'collection' in a certain order so that they can be changed quickly if desired. For example, simply swipe from the left or right edge of the screen to quickly switch between watch faces in different formats. Alternatively, you can also set the watch face to change automatically using Shortcuts.
But for this enjoyable experience, you first need to go through a few basic setup steps. After you've added and customized your watch faces, tap and hold the watch face.
Here, press and hold the watch face you want to move order.
Immediately, the watch face will be selected and you will see a marker, along with preview images of the two expected watch faces that will lie ahead and after. You will also see the current dial number (3 out of 12 in the example).
When you're satisfied with the order of the watch faces, lift your finger off the screen.
You can also repeat this process to rearrange the order of other watch faces as you like for easy quick switching.
