How to download your own Twitch video

The streamer can download all their previous videos directly from the Twitch.tv website. Depending on the type of account such as a regular user, Twitch Affiliate or Twitch Partner, the previous video download window will change from 14 to 60 days after the original stream, then the video will automatically delete. You can perform your video download using the steps below:

Step 1: Allow automatic storage of live video

On the Twitch website, click on the drop-down menu in the top right corner and select Settings . From this page, click the Channel & Videos link and then scroll down to the Channel Settings section, select the Automatically archive my broadcasts box. All your next live stream videos will be saved to the record after the end.

Step 2: Download v ideo

From the main drop-down menu, click Video Manager to open the library of all saved videos. Under each video thumbnail will be a Download record link, click it to save the video to the computer.

Note: You cannot download other people's videos from the Twitch website.

Twitch Leecher is a free program specifically designed to download videos from Twitch. Twitch Leecher can download all videos of all accounts on Twitch site. And this program is also updated regularly to keep up with Twitch updates. This is how to install Twitch Leecher and start using it to download Twitch videos.

Step 1: Go to the official Twitch Leecher page on GitHub and download the latest version of the software. Click on the link with the extension .exe below the latest post.

Step 2: The computer will prompt you to run the program or save it. Click Run and follow the instructions to install the program on your computer.

Step 3 : After completing the installation process, find Twitch Leecher by opening the Start Menu of Windows 10 and clicking the All apps icon in the top left corner. Twitch Leecher will be listed at the top of the next menu with other recently installed programs (if available).

Step 4: Click the Twitch Leecher icon to open the program and then select the Search button in the top menu.

Step 5 : Click the New Search button at the bottom of the window.

Step 6: Open a regular web browser like Edge, Chrome or Firefox and visit the official Twitch website.

Step 7: Find the channel of the Twitch streamer by searching in the search bar at the top or if you have followed them, simply click on the Followed Channels menu .

Step 8: When entering the profile page, click the Video link next to the Twitch channel name.

Step 9: Find the video you want to download and right-click it, select Copy Link if using Edge, Copy Link Location in Firefox or Copy link address if using Chrome.

Step 10: Go back to Twitch Leecher and select the Urls tab. Copy the video link into the white box by pressing Ctrl + V on the keyboard or right-click and select Paste , then click Search .

Step 11: The selected Twitch video will appear with the Download button in the lower right corner, click that button.

Step 12: On the next screen, you can choose the resolution of the downloaded video and the place to store the video on the computer. You can also name the file and select the start and end of the video. This last option is useful because many Twitch videos are several hours long and will need a lot of memory if you save the entire clip.

Step 13: When all options have been set up, click the Download button.
