How to create QR codes with Bing is extremely simple

Using QR codes is very simple: Just scan with the image sensor on the phone camera, the application will convert the code into binary and display information or perform pre-programmed behavior.

But how quickly can a QR code be generated and stored? Microsoft has an extremely easy-to-use QR code generator that is available in any web browser through the Bing search engine.

To generate a QR code using Bing, first open your web browser and type ' bing.com ' in the address bar to visit the Bing website. Note that for the time being, this trick is only available on desktop browsers.

In the Bing search box, enter the keyword ' generate qr code ' and press Enter.

In the returned result page, scroll down until you see the box to generate QR code as shown in the below illustration.

Click this text box and enter the text you want to be referenced in the QR code. Usually, people refer to a web address. But in fact, QR codes can also be used to refer to many other types of information, depending on specific needs.

The corresponding QR code has been generated. You can check by scanning a code with a QR code-enabled device, such as a smartphone. You can then save this QR code as an image file to your computer by right-clicking on it and selecting ' Save As '.
