How to Change the Crosshair Color in PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile lets you customize the color of supported crosshairs and sight reticles. The setting changes visibility, not weapon accuracy or recoil. Choose a color that remains easy to see against grass, buildings, the sky, and dark interiors.

Change a crosshair or reticle color

1. Open PUBG Mobile and select the Settings icon from the lobby.
2. Look for a section named Crosshair, Scope, or Scope Settings. The label can move after an interface update.
3. Select the hip-fire crosshair or the supported sight you want to customize.
4. Choose one of the available colors and review the preview.
5. Repeat for the other sights you use, then close Settings and test the result in Training Grounds.

Not every optic exposes the same palette. Some reticle designs or magnified scopes may offer fewer choices, a brightness control, or no color option at all. Use only the choices displayed in the current game client.

How to choose a useful color

• Red: easy to recognize quickly, but can blend into red-zone effects, warm interiors, or red interface elements.
• Green: bright in many buildings and desert areas, but may be less visible in dense vegetation.
• Cyan or light blue: often contrasts with terrain and foliage, though it can blend into the sky.
• White: neutral and clear in dark areas, but can disappear against bright walls or clouds.
• Yellow: highly visible in many scenes, but may overlap with sand or bright effects.

There is no universally best color. Test the same reticle in multiple parts of a map and keep the option that your eyes locate immediately.

Test the setting properly

1. Enter Training Grounds with the weapons and optics you normally use.
2. Aim at a light wall, dark doorway, vegetation, open sky, and moving target.
3. Check the reticle while standing, moving, aiming, and firing.
4. If the game offers reticle brightness or style, change only one control at a time.

A bright reticle is not necessarily better if it covers a small distant target. Visibility and precision need to be balanced.

If the color option is missing

• Update PUBG Mobile through the official app store or GameLoop.
• Confirm that you selected a supported sight rather than a fixed reticle.
• Look under both the Controls and Scope-related settings because menu organization can differ by regional edition.
• Repair the game resources from the login screen if a menu is incomplete, but link a guest account before clearing data or reinstalling.

If the setting does not save

Apply the selection, return to the lobby, and restart the game once. If the color resets, check whether cloud settings or an emulator profile restored an older configuration. Avoid third-party configuration tools that edit game files; forced values can break after an update and may violate the game's rules.

Accessibility considerations

If red and green are difficult to distinguish, try cyan, yellow, or white where available and review the game's colorblind options separately. A crosshair color changes only the aiming mark; it does not replace colorblind settings for map markers, hit effects, loot, or interface indicators.
