How to Change Your Character Appearance in PUBG Mobile

You can change your PUBG Mobile avatar’s base appearance from the profile or character customization controls. Open your player profile, find the data or appearance editing option, choose the available face, hair, skin tone or body setting, review the displayed cost, and confirm only when you are satisfied with the preview.

Interface note: PUBG Mobile changes its lobby and profile layout frequently. The screenshots below show an older version, but the same choices may now appear under your profile, Inventory, Appearance or character data page.

Change your character’s face, hair, or body settings

1. From the lobby, tap your profile picture or player banner to open your personal page.
2. Look for Edit, Appearance, a pencil icon, or the character-data controls. If the option is not on the profile page, open Inventory and check the appearance/customization icon beside the character.
3. Select the face, hairstyle, hair color, skin tone, gender or body option offered by your version of the game.
4. Rotate and inspect the preview. Remove a bulky outfit temporarily if it hides the part you are editing.
5. Check the price shown on screen and select OK, Buy or Confirm. The change is not applied until you accept that final prompt.

Check the cost before confirming

Appearance changes may consume an in-game currency or item. Do not rely on an old fixed price: PUBG Mobile can change currencies, regional offers and interface rules. The amount on the confirmation screen in your account is the value that matters. If the button is unavailable, you may not have enough of the required currency or the selected option may belong to a separate character system.

Base appearance is different from clothing, weapon finishes and special playable characters. To change an outfit, return to Inventory and equip individual clothing pieces or a saved set. Some cosmetic items are temporary, and some belong to event or character-specific systems.

If the Appearance option is missing

• Update PUBG Mobile through the official app store and restart the game.
• Check both the player profile/data page and the Inventory customization panel.
• Close temporary event screens and return to the main lobby before opening the profile.
• Make sure you are editing the standard avatar rather than a special character whose look is controlled by its own outfits.
• Use the in-game customer service entry if currency was deducted but the change did not apply.

Protect your account and currency
