How to add subtle text for a unique touch using Photoshop

Create watermarks on images using Photoshop.

Step 1 : Open Adobe Photoshop and select an image file to insert text into.

Create a new image file by clicking File --> New (or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + N ).

Name the image file and choose the height, width, and background color for the image file --> OK

Step 2 : Use the Text tool (shortcut key T ) to create a text file on the image file you just created, with your desired font, size, and color.

Step 3 : Select the newly created text file. On the Layers toolbar, go to Layers --> New --> Layer via Copy (or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + J) to duplicate the text file.

To check if you've actually duplicated the Text file, simply look at the Layers panel in the left column of the screen; the "Copy Text" layer should now appear in the Layers panel.

Step 4 : Select the Text Copy layer , click Filter --> Blur --> Motion Blur

Step 5 : Adjust the opacity of the text file in the Distance section (you can automatically change the opacity until you achieve the desired opacity for the text).

While adjusting the opacity, you can preview the opacity of the text file directly on the original image file, so you will know what level of opacity is most suitable.

Click OK to save.

Okay, that's it. Press Ctrl + Shift + E to merge these two text layers with the original image file and save it.

How to easily blur text in Photoshop 

Step 1: Upload image using Photoshop

Step 2 :  On the vertical toolbar of Photoshop, click on the " Marquee Tool " (or press the shortcut key M ). 

Step 3:  Use your mouse to drag around the area you want to blur. In the image, TipsMake wants to blur the text "Taimienphi ". 

Step 4:  On the horizontal toolbar , click " Filter ", select " Blur ", and then select " Box Blur " as shown below.

Step 5 : The Box Blur dialog boxopens. Drag the slider from right to left to adjust the blur level , or you can enter the desired value in the adjacent box. Once you've made your adjustments, click " OK ".
