Honk to Pass (the Vietnamese title is commonly rendered as Còi To Cho V??t) is an arcade-style mobile game inspired by the crowded streets of Vietnam. The goal is simple: steer through traffic, avoid obstacles and travel as far as possible without a collision.
This is an older game, so its current App Store and Google Play availability may differ by region. The guide below focuses on the original gameplay shown in the screenshots rather than promising that the app can still be downloaded.
What the game is like
The game turns familiar street scenes into a lighthearted obstacle course filled with motorcycles, buses, vendors and unpredictable road users. Its cartoon characters and traffic sounds are part of the joke, but the controls demand quick reactions as the road becomes busier.
It was released in free and paid versions with the same basic gameplay; the paid edition removed advertising.
Adjust the sound and start a run
Open the game and use the gear icon to change the sound setting. The opening screen shows a stylized Vietnamese street and the available game controls.

Select the road-sign-shaped Run button to choose a character. New players begin with the scooter rider. Additional characters become available after earning enough points.

How to steer and slow down
Tap the left or right side of the screen to move between lanes and avoid traffic. Press the center of the screen to slow the vehicle, which gives you more time to pass through a narrow gap.

Watch several vehicles ahead instead of focusing only on the nearest obstacle. Moving early is safer than making repeated last-second lane changes. If two lanes are closing, slow down until a clear route appears.

Difficulty, distance and collisions
The distance counter records how far you travel. Difficulty rises automatically as the run continues, adding more traffic and reducing the time available to react. A collision ends the run and returns the player to the start.

After a crash, the results screen shows the distance reached and an illustration of what ended the run. Choose Run to try again or Leave to return to the main screen.

Unlocking more characters
Open the character area from the menu to check your score and the requirements for locked characters. In the version shown here, many characters required 500 points. Select an eligible character and confirm with Yes to unlock it.

Simple ways to improve your score
- Make one deliberate lane change instead of tapping rapidly from side to side.
- Use the slow-down control before entering a crowded section.
- Keep your attention near the top of the screen so you see hazards earlier.
- Prioritize survival over squeezing through the smallest gap; distance is what raises the score.
