Guide to watching and managing video comments on Youtube

Watch video comments on your YouTube channel to update the latest comments that YouTube users comment on videos you upload and share with everyone. You can also use the comment moderation tool (comment moderation tools) to manage comments on your videos.

1. View video comments on Youtube

To see comments on a video, just scroll down to the video page.

Answers are grouped in groups to make it easier to follow the conversation. All comments on YouTube are public and anyone can reply to comments you post on it.

If you feel a comment that you think is inappropriate, you can flag the comment as spam or infringement.

If you are a video creator, you can also use the comment moderation tool (comment moderation tools) to manage comments on your videos.

2. Change any comments that appear first

On the website, you can change how the comments are displayed below the video. Use the drop - down menu to select Top comments or Newest comments.

Top comments: Show comments with a markedly marked ranking, such as a video creator's comment, a comment that is being discussed by viewers and comments voted by many YouTube users.

Latest comment first: Display the most recent comments at the top.

Note:

The YouTube app for Android and iOS devices does not yet support all comment and comment features. For example, the most recent commenting features are not available in the Android app .

However, you can login to the YouTube mobile website to like (like) or dislike (dislike) comments and comments on your videos.
