How to Find and Re-Invite Recent Teammates in PUBG Mobile

Open PUBG Mobile’s Recent Team list to find, add, or invite former squadmates, then use profile, privacy, block, and report controls safely.

Table of Contents

To find someone you recently played with in PUBG Mobile, open the Friends or Social panel and look for Recent, Recent Team, or a similarly named match-history list. From there you can view the player's profile, send a friend request, invite them again, or report and block them when necessary.

The screenshots show an older interface, so the tab names may differ in the current version. The key is to open social features before the recent-player list is replaced by newer matches.

Find a recent teammate

From the lobby, tap the Friends or Social icon.

Opening the PUBG Mobile Friends panel

Open Recent Team or Recent. The list may show the player's name, avatar, rank, last mode, match time, or selected performance information.

Select the plus icon or Add Friend to send a request. Add a short, respectful message that identifies the match if the game allows one; a blank request from an unfamiliar name is easy to ignore.

Invite without adding a friend

Open the team invitation panel from the lobby.

Select Recent to view players from recent matches, then choose Invite beside an available player. You may also be able to open the profile first.

Inviting a recent PUBG Mobile teammate

A recent player may be offline, already in a team, in a match, or configured to reject invitations. Send one invitation and wait; repeated invites are disruptive and do not improve the chance of a response.

If the player is not in Recent

  • Check the match results or Career Results screen if the match is still visible.
  • Review screenshots or recordings for the exact nickname and character ID.
  • Use Add Friend search with the exact player ID when available; display names can contain similar characters.
  • Ask a mutual teammate to share the correct profile through the in-game social tools.

Do not rely on a display name alone when several players use similar spelling. Compare the avatar, level, clan, and ID shown on the profile before sending personal information or accepting an outside contact request.

Build a reliable squad

One good match does not guarantee compatible play styles. Before starting ranked games, agree on:

  • Preferred map, perspective, and mode
  • Voice or quick-chat communication
  • Landing style: hot drop, balanced, or low-risk
  • Who leads rotations and marks enemies
  • How loot and vehicles are shared

If voice chat is important, test it in the lobby and use the guide to PUBG Mobile voice chat. The matchmaking guide for finding teammates who use the same language can also reduce avoidable communication problems.

Use profiles and privacy controls

Review the profile before adding a stranger, but do not treat rank or elimination count as proof of good teamwork. A reliable teammate communicates clearly, stays within support distance, shares information, and does not pressure others to reveal private details.

  • Keep account credentials, verification codes, phone numbers, and payment details private.
  • Do not move to an outside messaging app merely because a new teammate insists.
  • Mute abusive voice chat and use in-game reporting for harassment or cheating.
  • Block a player if you do not want further invitations or contact.
  • Never install a “team finder” APK or plugin that asks for PUBG Mobile login access.

Why the Add Friend button may fail

The other player may have a full friends list, disabled requests, blocked the account, changed their name, or played on an incompatible regional version. A temporary network problem can also prevent the request from sending. Restart the game and retry once; do not repeatedly search or message someone who has declined.

Recent Team is most useful immediately after a match. If a player communicated well, open the list, verify the profile, send one friend request, and add a short note while both players still remember the game.
