Mahmoud Afifi, the head of the ancient Ministry of Excavation, told Ahram Online that when conducting research on the architectural style as well as the decoration of the tomb, ceramic fragments found in the grave showed it. may belong to the Greek occupation period in Egypt.
This tomb includes four burial rooms decorated with geometric designs, colors as well as motifs such as funeral prayers written in ancient Greek.
Mustafa Rushdi, General Manager of the Antiquities of the Western Institute Delta and Alexandria told Ahram Online that they saw 300 artifacts in these tomb tombs including pottery artifacts, earthenware statues, and lamps made in clay.
In the next archeology, the team will continue to study funeral phrases written on graves to determine their owners.
