Google Hangouts Chat for the group officially released worldwide

Hangouts Chat is a group chat application that competes with the famous Slack app.

After a year of beta, Google has officially launched Hangouts Chat - Slack 's group chat and rival - for G Suite customers worldwide.

This means that those who are paying to use Google services like Gmail or Google Drive will be used with their own domain name.

Like many other team-working applications, Hangous Chat allows you to chat in groups, thread by topic, share text via Google tools, schedule meetings, and video calls up to 30 people at a time. Hangouts Meet 'sister app'. Of course, there are also desktop and mobile applications.

There is also an AI bot that performs many tasks, integrating with other services such as Salesforce, Freshdesk, Zenefits, Trello and Kayak. Developers can also create bots for use in Hangouts Chat.

So where is the old Hangouts app that we still know? It seems that Google does not know how to remove it without making users uncomfortable. Hangouts is still a standalone app, located in the G Suite Gmail so anyone can contact you, and the new Chat app to connect to the current directory.

Chat application, effective group calling for businesses

Hangouts Chat is ready to face Slack (currently 6 million users as of September last year), Microsoft Teams, Facebook Workplace, Atlassian Stride, Flock, Zoho Cliq and Teambase's Key Teams.

The number of G Suite users has increased by 1/3 last year, to 4 million, so Google will probably have a chance in this war.
