Microsoft is free for group video chat on Skype
The group video chat feature on Skype is completely free, instead of requiring the use of Skype Premium service as before.
Microsoft recently announced that it will be free for group video calling on its Skype service. This is a feature that Google Hangouts has been offering for a long time and today Microsoft has complemented Skype to compete with Google services.
This feature is currently available for Skype users on Windows, Mac, and Xbox One."In the future, we will bring this group video call feature to other platforms," announced Phillip Snalune of Skype.
Previously, Microsoft only allowed group video calls if users used their Skype Premium service. This service costs $ 8.99 / month. If used daily, users will have to pay up to 5 USD for 1 day using Skype Premium and group video calling. This feature allows you to Skype video chat in groups with up to 10 people (on PC and Mac). With the addition of today and fix message sync errors for Skype, Microsoft's service promises to compete better than rival products.
