Recently, Google has partnered with other security companies to form an alliance to ensure the safety of the Play Store app store.

Alliance members will share information with each other to detect malicious code more effectively, preventing malicious applications before being distributed to users.

Specifically, Google shares to coalition members information about applications pending approval. They will be analyzed and tested by Google partners. The results will be sent back to Google Play Protect service and vice versa.
