Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 8T: Snapdragon 665 chip, 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging 18W, priced at $ 220

Recently, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8T, a smartphone between the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro segments.

Basically, the Redmi Note 8T and Redmi Note 8 are the same, the difference is that the Note 8T has an additional NFC connection and the 18W charger included in the box. Xiaomi has only released the Redmi Note 8T in the European market.

In terms of specifications, the Note 8T is similar to the Note 8 with a 6.3-inch FullHD + screen, a 13MP selfie camera placed in the waterdrop groove position. The rear camera cluster includes: the main sensor has 48MP resolution, 8MP wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera and finally 2MP depth sensor.

Redmi Note 8T uses Snapdragon 665 chip, has 2 options of 3GB / 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB internal memory. The device is equipped with 3 slots (2 Sims and 1 memory card) so it is possible to expand the internal memory capacity with a microSD card.

Note 8T is equipped with a battery capacity of 4,000 mAh and comes with 18W fast charger. It runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 and will soon be updated to MIUI 11.

Redmi Note 8T has three colors to choose from: blue, white and black. Currently, Xiaomi has just launched the 4GB / 64GB version with the price of 199 EUR (about 220 USD). Other versions include 3GB / 64GB version priced at 179 EUR (198 USD) and 4GB / 128GB version with 249 EUR (276 USD) will be launched in the near future.
