Google announces the new Google Assistant with incredible speed

Google has announced the second generation version of the Google Assistant software, promising new capabilities, design changes and speed. With this final upgrade, Assistant is able to launch and answer questions a lot faster than before. The service will be available first on Pixel phones and Google announced at the Pixel 4 launch event in New York on Tuesday (October 15, 2019).

We already know quite a lot about the new Assistant thanks to Google's initial revelation at the I / O Developer Conference in May and found it working on Pixel 4 before its release, thanks to initial leaks.

Google announced in May that the new Assistant would be up to 10 times faster than before, and the promotional videos actually showed a much faster speed when directing and answering query questions. However, it is unclear whether this 10-speed increase estimate is for all Assistant features or just for certain features.

In the demo, you can see the speed of the new Assistant, which is impressive. It can register subsequent queries and return results at a fast rate of no more than a second or two. The presenter also used Assistant without waking the assistant up with Hey Google, but Google did not specify whether it was a new intended feature or a shortcut made for demo purposes.
