Here are the steps to proceed:

Click on the logo ' Options ' (located in the top right corner of the screen)

Select ' Mail Settings ', then select ' Themes ' and scroll down to the last option ' Create Your Own Theme '.

Follow Google's instructions to choose a photo in Picasa or download new photos from your computer, then customize the character color and background color.

Outward remittance:

Depending on the image you choose, you may have to adjust the color of the text to not get mixed up.

Gmail will automatically crop the image to fit the page frame, so the landscape or still image will probably be more reasonable than the photo, portrait, unless you don't mind seeing only part of it / someone's body only.

If you can't decide which photo to choose, you can click on 'Random' for Google to choose a household.

In addition to the Gmail page interface customization feature, Google recently added two quite convenient management features, ' Don't Forget Bob ' (remind you to add someone in mail-group) and ' Got the Wrong Bob '(helps you distinguish between people with the same name).
