So if you receive an email in Japanese, a language you don't know, you can choose to translate that letter into English and with this tool you can easily communicate with a French person without having to know each other's language.

Automatic translation for the first time introduced in Gmail Labs (where Gmail's features are tested and evaluated) since 2009, has become a feature that attracts many Gmail users, especially with businesses. People, who often exchange letters with many people in many different countries.

Jeff Chin, Product Manager of Google Translate wrote on the blog: 'Because email translation is one of the most interesting products, we decided to take it from Gmail Labs to the real world.'

The service will be available to Gmail users in the next few days. When you receive an email written in a language you don't know, click the 'Translate message ' button on the email's title, Gmail will translate that message right away for you. You can turn this feature off if you don't need it or you can always choose to translate your email if you have to use it regularly.
