Garmin-Asus alliance says its new product line integrates the essential features of a modern phone such as email, messaging and photography.
' The A50 gives users a new experience of navigation features built into the Android platform. This new product offers unlimited positioning , 'said Benson Lin, director of Asus's Personal Mobile Division.
Initial information shows that the Garmin-Asus alliance product is equipped with a 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen with user-friendly interface, Qwerty keyboard.
In addition, the A50's internal memory has a capacity of 4GB, supports external microSD memory card, an accelerometer. Besides, this product is supported by a variety of Google services such as Google Search by voice, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, calendar, and Android Market.
An outstanding feature of the Nuvifone A50 is that it can synchronize with Microsoft Exchange servers, WebKit web browsers. A50 has a 3 MP camera with automatic focus mode.
The leader of Garmin-Asus adds, A50 is focused on the global positioning GPS function with software used similar to the Nuvi GPS device that is leading the global positioning market.
Expected, this product will be available in the European market in the first half of 2010. The price and the launch date of the product has not been disclosed.
