Find Photography Inspiration Within the Limit of Four Walls

As an outdoor photographer, I always have projects in the snow skiing, taking pictures with snow showers or outdoor advertising sessions. Every year, this is the busiest time for me, when I feel the healthiest and most creative to handle a series of new projects to satisfy my artistic and. bank account.

But this year, I have to stay at home.

Before the official instructions from the government, I isolated myself at home because of the illness and fever. I do not want to spread the disease to anyone, and of course I do not want to get COVID-19 in the weakened immune system. At the time of writing this article, I've been 'stuck' in my house for 3 weeks now, and it looks like the situation will continue for the next 4 weeks.

At first, I felt sad and scared. Previously planned projects had to leave the schedule or give up altogether. And so the source of my living, my passion suddenly poured into the river into the sea this year. After this season, I will be almost empty handed.

After a few moments of thinking, I found that keeping myself and my family healthy first. On the financial side, I will have to spend more modestly, leaving out the usual 'luxury' expenses to be able to survive this season. But, after all this I still want to find a way to satisfy my passion for photography.

Sometimes we think too much about things we don't have, but forget what we already have. You have a home, food in the closet, full of modern amenities, daily needs have been met, there is no reason you can not find creative sources for yourself. What makes you curious, want to learn in more detail?

Do you need the Open World on the outside to be creative? And I found out, the answer is no. Creativity is in each of us, not in the outside. Prove that you are not a 'victim' of adversity, that you have an overwhelming imagination wherever you are. Turn your home, your surroundings into a photography class, looking for new things to create unique photos.

With a new way of thinking, I set myself a new rule: every day I take my camera to the garden outside my home. Recently it rained a lot, the temperature was so deep that every time I went to the garden I had to grind my teeth to endure. But it was this chill that reminded me of the days of outdoor photos on snow mountains! I feel like my photography inspiration is alive, I feel it is wonderful to endure the cold to photograph trees and leaves around the house.

Every afternoon I went to the garden, telling myself not to miss anything small. It is the season of change, so the vegetation in my garden changes quickly. They change day by day, making my photos so new, I am in harmony with nature.

There are many photos I feel very satisfied with, there are other beautiful flowers and leaves but I don't know how to take them yet. I still have time to continue testing, I feel very happy!

This type of photography is different from what I usually take, but it has become something that keeps my photography inspiration warm every day, and also gives me hope that despite the harsh environment, I can also continue to be creative. I have found something new, what about you?
