The next generation Galaxy Buds will have a pea-shaped design, launched later this year
Most likely, Samsung will introduce this new Galaxy Buds headset during the Galaxy Note 20 launch event in August.
In early February, Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds + along with the Galaxy S20 series in the Unpacked event held in California, USA. A few days ago, the company continued to introduce more AKG N400 wireless headphones with active noise canceling (ANC) technology in Korea.
According to the latest report, Samsung is developing its next generation of wireless headsets, scheduled to launch later this year. This device will probably be named Galaxy Buds "Bean", owning a completely different design than all the wireless headsets we have seen before.
From the outside, the Galaxy Buds "Bean" look like a bean with a length of about 2.8cm, just enough to fit in the user's ears. However, it is unclear whether this design can "isolate" good external noise or not, because it is an earbuds and does not have the silicon earbuds like Galaxy Buds or Buds +.
The report says Samsung's new headphones will have model number SM-R180, equipped with two small speakers on the sides to improve sound quality. In addition, it also integrates 3 microphones for making voice calls, as well as capturing noise from the surrounding environment, then eliminating noise and then playing back to the user's ears.
At this time, it is still unclear the specifications and features of Galaxy Buds "Bean". However, we will have more information about this model when it passes the first stage of technical testing.
About the time of launch, it is likely that Samsung will introduce Galaxy Buds "Bean" in the launch event of Galaxy Note 20 in August this year. However, the company may also postpone this product to launch at some point in the future.
