Xiaomi launches RedmiBook 14 with Ryzen
Xiaomi has officially launched the RedmiBook 14, which runs the Ryzen chip in China. The product is currently being pre-ordered on Jingdong e-commerce site, expected to hit shelves on April 9
RedmiBook 14 was first introduced in May last year with Intel Core processors. The Ryzen-powered version retains a 14-inch screen, which has an 81.2% screen-to-body ratio. In addition, it also supports Dolby DTS technology, promising to bring the best music listening experience for users.
The RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition has two different configuration options, including one model equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U chipset, while the other model uses the AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor. Both variants have 8GB / 16GB DRR4 RAM and 512GB SSD.
During the launch event, Xiaomi said the Ryzen 14 RedmiBook will be adding the super-fast cross-file sending feature the company introduced earlier this year.
If you do not know, this is a feature built on the cooperation of Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo with the ability to send files between devices of these three brands. It can transfer files between laptops and smartphones without any size limit, with the ability to transfer more than 1,000 HD images and videos in a flash.
Regarding the price, RedmiBook 14 running AMD Ryzen 5 chip with 8GB of RAM + 512GB SSD will retail for 3299 yuan (about 11 million). Meanwhile, AMD Ryzen 7 version with 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD most advanced price 3999 yuan (about 13.3 million).
