Vietnam Airlines provides wifi services on board
According to the latest announcement from Vietnam Airlines, on some flights operated by Vietnam Airlines, passengers can use WiFi Internet connection starting October 10, 2019. This important step of the National Airlines not only increases the customer experience, but also helps it take another step towards international 5-star quality and towards becoming a digital airline (Digital Airlines).
Specifically, Vietnam Airlines' wifi service will be available on some Airbus A350 aircraft operated by the airline on routes between Ho Chi Minh City - Osaka / Singapore and Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City / Shanghai / Osaka. The service will be expanded on other Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 aircraft in the near future with improved access speed.
Internet connection service of Vietnam Airlines has many different packages with prices from 2.95 to 29.95 USD, equivalent from 75,000 to 735,000 VND with a maximum capacity of 80mb. After the plane reaches a stable height, passengers can register the package and pay the service fee online via Visa, American Express, JCB, MasterCard or Diners Club credit cards. Passengers can use many different devices for a registered package but cannot use it on multiple devices simultaneously. Validity of registered packages is maintained until the flight ends.
Vietnam Airlines' in-flight wifi service is suitable for passengers wishing to exchange information on popular Viber, iMessage, Messenger, Whatsapp . applications regularly during the flight.
Flights with WiFi service will be notified to passengers at the airport check-in counters, service identification boards are located at the boarding gates, notified via in-flight loudspeakers, instruction sheets Services are located in the front seat bags on the aircraft.
Vietnam Airlines will offer 30 minutes of free WiFi for in-flight messaging service packages to each passenger during the period from October to the end of December 2019.
