Huawei P30 Pro has an error accessing Netflix, Google Pay
According to Android Authority recently, some Huawei P30 Pro users cannot access and use Netflix and Google Pay due to an error with Google's SafetyNet service. SafetyNet service will check whether all software on the device is genuine or not before allowing access.
The access bug was first discovered by programmer Paul O'Brien, who announced on Twitter that his P30 Pro could not pass SafetyNet's test despite not editing any software on it. Currently, Huawei has reviewed the information and works with Google to resolve the issue. The company also added that the error status on SafetyNet only occurs on a few devices, not the entire Huawei P30 Pro.
Exactly, this problem only affects some Android 10 devices with EMUI 10 beta. A representative of the company said that the EMUI 10 global test version on the P30 and P30 Pro is no longer certified by SafetyNet by Google, so the situation just happened. Google generally licenses a number of SafetyNet certified models for testing even during the license pending period.
The temporary solution that Huawei offers is that if you run MUI 10 beta on P30 Pro and encounter the SafetyNet error, users can return to the stable EMUI 9.1 version, or wait a while longer for the company to release a fix. . Some users after rebooting the machine have also overcome this problem. Not only with the two applications above, but any of the applications that integrate SafetyNet will not work if the device does not pass the test.
